Jesolo 2

Jesolo

Jesolo is the most famous and popular seaside resort in the Veneto. Services, entertainment, landscapes, design and even proximity to Venice: it's all there!

Jesolo is the City Beach of the Veneto, a perfect seaside resort for comfortable and easy to organize holidays that can make young people, families, couples and the elderly happy in equal measure. The 15 km long beach, the longest pedestrian area in Europe offers a wild nightlife, a hinterland with a wild charm and buildings with an extraordinary design, lagoons and pine forests with a wild charm coexist with rural areas of the sweetest beauty: scenarios to dream for rides and walks in complete relaxation.

What to see in Jesolo?

Jesolo's top attraction, after the beach of course, is Via Bafile, a very long pedestrian avenue parallel to the seafront that runs through practically the entire Lido area. It is the shopping street, the nightlife street, the street of the "tubs"... everyone passes through here, and often several times a day. It is considered the longest pedestrian area in Europe.

The Spiaggia del Faro, the final stretch of the Jesolo beach in a south-west direction, is so called due to the presence of a lighthouse that can be seen on the opposite bank of the mouth of the Sile (territory of the municipality of Cavallino). It is not isolated and solitary like the lighthouse of a distant island, but it has its own maritime charm and a long history. It was built in the nineteenth century, but the characteristic black stripes were painted only in 1936; destroyed during the Second World War, it was rebuilt after a few years. For many young people on holiday in Jesolo, the Faro beach is known as a location for concerts and large-scale events.

Family-friendly attractions in Jesolo

Jesolo is the ideal location for an unforgettable family holiday: the beach is safe and the countless opportunities for fun will make everyone happy, from newborns to grown-ups. It is no coincidence that many families return year after year, and for many children and teenagers from the North-East, summer is synonymous with holidays in Jesolo. Below you will find the most interesting attractions for an hour or a day of family fun in addition to the beach, sports fields and go-kart tracks.

Caribe Bay:

Caribe Bay is a water park, where you will find slides of different lengths and gradients (including the adrenaline-filled Spacemaker which allows you to reach a speed of 100 km/h), bungee jumping, mini golf, stage shows and a disco.

Tropicarium park:

Tropicarium Park is Jesolo's attraction which with a single ticket allows you to enter three different natural habitats and learn about many animal species. The largest thematic area is the one that gives the park its name: here your children will be able to admire geckos, iguanas, turtles, snakes, water dragons and other fascinating creatures. The other two areas are Predators, dedicated to crocodiles and sharks, and Aquarium, dedicated to colorful tropical fish.

New Jesolandia:

New Jesolandia is an amusement park for family evening entertainment. Open from 8pm until late at night, it has more than 35 attractions for children and teenagers and numerous refreshment points. From classic fairground games, such as swan fishing, to thrilling rides such as the Matrix or the Tornado, there is something for the whole family in this slightly retro-style amusement park.
